Medical Assistant (CCMA) Program

Your Path to a Healthcare Career in Hawaii

At Oahu Medical Academy, we bridge the gap between classroom learning and clinical excellence. Licensed by the Hawaii Department of Education, our 22-week comprehensive program is designed to prepare you for a high-demand career by combining flexible online learning with high-touch, in-person training.

The Program Structure

Our unique hybrid model ensures you get academic flexibility without sacrificing hands-on mentorship from experienced instructors.

  • 16-Week Hybrid Instructional Period: Master the essentials of patient care through a blend of engaging online modules and scheduled in-person theory and clinical labs.

  • 6-Week Clinical Externship: Put your skills to the test with a 120-hour externship in a local medical facility, gaining the confidence you need to excel professionally.

  • National Certification: Our program utilizes NHA (National Healthcareer Association) resources. Upon successful completion of the course, students are eligible to sit for the NHA CCMA Exam.
