Oahu Medical Academy is a healthcare training school in Honolulu dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in the medical field. Our comprehensive Medical Assistant program follows nationally recognized NHA certification standards and includes full Basic Life Support (BLS) training, ensuring graduates meet the expectations of healthcare employers across Hawaiʻi and the United States. Students receive hands-on instruction in vital signs, EKG procedures, phlebotomy fundamentals, clinical workflows, and professional patient communication. Meet Our Founder
Rakhat Musaev, MSN, RN
Rakhat Musaev is the Founder and Director of Oahu Medical Academy, bringing over a decade of comprehensive nursing experience across hospital and surgical environments. A Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pace University, Rakhat combines advanced clinical expertise with a deep passion for healthcare education. Her background spans critical care, newborn care, and surgical services, giving her a broad understanding of patient care across multiple disciplines. This diverse experience shapes her hands-on, practical approach to teaching, emphasizing both technical skill and compassionate care. At Oahu Medical Academy, Rakhat is dedicated to preparing students with the confidence, competence, and professionalism to thrive in Hawaiʻi’s healthcare community.
